Acquisitions Team

Matt joined Timberland in 2007 and oversees all acquisition, disposition and financing activities, including sourcing, underwriting, market analysis and due diligence for new property acquisitions. Matt graduated from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado-Boulder with an emphasis in Finance.

As Director of Acquisitions, Mike leads the acquisition team in the underwriting and due diligence of potential investments across the country, as well as all disposition and financing activity for the company. Prior to joining Timberland Partners in 2018, Mike spent over nine years at Kimberly Clark, where he worked in a variety of finance roles. Mike has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison, with double majors in Finance and Real Estate.

As an Acquisitions Specialist, Jim is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and performing due diligence on potential investment opportunities. Prior to joining Timberland Partners in 2024, he earned his Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Michigan University and began his career as a Property Portfolio Manager with Pfefferle Management.
